Public School. A Green Space Childhood.
Public Pre-K–2nd Grade at Green Space Public School. A Green Space Childhood.
What if your child could receive a public school education without giving up the play, time outdoors, close relationships, and joyful childhood you want for them? Through our public school partnership, children in Pre-K through 2nd grade can complete their public school instructional day at Green Space Nature Preschool. Students receive the required Texas curriculum and instruction while learning in the small, relationship-centered, nature-rich environment that makes Green Space different.
A Different Kind of School Day
Children don’t have to choose between academic learning and childhood. At Green Space, learning happens through play, exploration, projects, conversation, movement, and meaningful experiences. Children spend significant portions of their day outdoors and have opportunities to investigate their interests, solve problems, create, collaborate, and build relationships. Our mixed-age Kindergarten–2nd Grade classroom creates a small learning community where teachers can get to know children well and provide instruction and support based on individual needs rather than expecting every child to learn in exactly the same way or at exactly the same pace.
Public School — Without Private School Tuition
The public school instructional program is provided through our district partnership, so families do not pay Green Space tuition for the public school instructional day. Families who need care beyond the school day may enroll in Green Space’s extended-day program for $695 per month, which includes before-school care, after-school care, and care during many school holidays and district closure days.
Eligible Pre-K students may also participate in the public Pre-K program through our district partnership. Our team can help your family understand Texas Pre-K eligibility requirements and determine whether your child qualifies.
