The city of Fort Worth recently celebrated the opening of a new childcare center in the Riverside community, launched by the nonprofit Child Care Associates. This facility is part of a larger initiative aimed at addressing the city’s shortage of affordable, high-quality childcare. The center offers state-of-the-art amenities, including natural outdoor play areas, and serves as a hub for early childhood education, therapeutic services, and family support.
Child Care Associates contracted Green Space Playgrounds to design and install the outdoor learning environments. Green Space Nature Playgrounds General Manager, Mat Dusza, said, “The design process for The Child Care Studio at Riverside was to connect children and adults with nature while affording children the opportunity to play in an open-ended, inviting, and free environment. The design considered the physical views of the greater community of the river and city backdrop to reflect the center’s service to their families and community.”
